Course Objective
This VIRTUAL workshop is designed to provide participants with an overview of the 3-part Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) professional development curriculum. The session, while providing a “Taste of CPIA,” provides valuable tips on the current insurance marketplace, risk analysis and management, account development and retention, and client-service in an interactive format. Agency sales managers, account managers, producers, internal support staff and company marketing personnel all benefit from this program.
SCOPE OF THE CPIA PROGRAM
The series of 3 CPIA Seminars lead to the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation. This course of study is intended to enhance the marketing and sales skills necessary to become a dynamic and successful insurance professional. The scope of each CPIA session is as follows:
▪ CPIA 1 creates a “before the sale” inventory of self, organization, partners, resources, and markets and teaches the concept of making prospecting a process.
▪ CPIA 2 builds skills that will make the most of “during the sale” time with a prospect and focuses on techniques for turning a Prospect into a Customer.
▪ CPIA 3 presents recommendations to address “after the sale” issues such as customer service, account development, retention, and creating a referral program.
